You only pay for live badges.

£2.25 per active badge, added to your monthly invoice. One bill, one payment, every month.

If someone leaves, you revoke their badge in the dashboard and they don't count in the next invoice. No separate charges for each activation — the whole lot bundles into your monthly subscription invoice, so it's one payment, one line on your bank statement, one number on your accounts. It aligns our revenue with the value you actually get, and keeps the admin off your desk.

Questions we hear most.

Your subscription runs until the end of the billing period you've paid for. No fees to cancel. We don't pro-rate refunds on the monthly plan, but we also don't charge you another month — so the wind-down is clean. Export your data any time from the dashboard.
Yes, any time. Upgrades take effect immediately and we pro-rate the difference. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. Change your mind as often as you like — no contracts.
The whole thing. Full feature set on the Standard tier for two weeks. We ask for a card at signup to keep the spam accounts out, but nothing is charged during the trial. If you cancel before day 14, your card is never billed.
Add the staff member in the dashboard, upload their photo (or send a magic link so they upload their own), then mark them active. Their badge is live as soon as you save. Active badges are metered and added to your monthly invoice at £2.25 each — one bill, one payment, no separate charges. Suspend a badge and it drops off the next invoice.
Mark them as "Left" in the dashboard. Their QR revokes instantly — any scan from that moment shows a red "no longer employed" page. For billing, we count a badge as active if it was live for any part of the billing period. This avoids nickel-and-dime pro-rating on either side.
No. If you already have a PVC card printer, we export print-ready PDF files you can run in-house. The kit bundles are there for convenience — most SMEs don't want to become a card-printing operation.
On Standard and Professional, yes. Your clients scan a QR that opens verify.yourcompany.co.uk — not our domain — with your branding. Setup is a single CNAME DNS record; we handle the SSL certificate.
The Tocyn family of products donates to charity from platform revenue on TocynTicket. The exact split for TocynID is being finalised with Jez — this FAQ will be updated with the confirmed figure before launch. No fabricated numbers here.
